Are you worried about the future of your job? Maybe you should be. According to many experts, artificial intelligence or AI is going to take over almost all jobs and there will be no more private sector, individual, human jobs except for just a few. And this is a an interview with tech mogul Bill Gates. And again, take it for what it's worth. Take it with a grain of salt. But what he's predicting is only three jobs will survive artificial intelligence. Every other job will be done by computers, by AI, by agents. So what are those jobs and how can you prepare for this development?

Well, first of all, the sub headline of this says that the future of work is becoming an urgent topic. Yes, of course it is. If there's not going to be any work, then where does the income for people come from in order to pay their bills, in order to live their life? And what it says is it raises important questions about which jobs will be left behind and which will thrive. The three professions that he predicts will thrive. Number one is the energy sector. You need more energy actually to do AI. You need more power plants. You need more transmission lines, biology, and healthcare.

For most people, you don't have the background, education, or scientific knowledge to do energy, biology, or high-end health care. Health care they're talking about is really high-end. So, those are going to be ruled out for most people. What's the remaining one? AI programming and development. This is one where almost anybody can participate in that sector. If you are working in an industry that's starting to use AI, if you can be part of the deployment, you are now going to be valuable because you are going to be a human that knows how to run and manage and work the AI.

Kind of think it think of it like you're getting a promotion to be the boss of AI. You're being the manager of the AI department. You can do this now. It's early enough in the process where almost nobody knows a lot about AI. And if you are the one that knows the most in your company, you're going to be invaluable. You're going to be crucial to making sure the company thrives. So that would be a good place to start in your own company. Even if your company's not deploying AI yet, mess around with it yourself to see how it can be used. And if you see your expertise becoming valuable, you can present it to your company to show that you are a leading authority with artificial intelligence.
