Maybe WhatsApp is not so secure after all. A lot of criminals and fraudsters are using WhatsApp to try to hide their activities and communications. However, a new article from some tech resources this week revealed that anyone can tell if you're using WhatsApp on your computer. This is due to a vulnerability in the way that information is exchanged.

We've talked about this before: through your computer, your router, and even your internet connection, it is possible to determine that you're using WhatsApp, what the connections are, and maybe even what your messages are.

If you are a criminal trying to use WhatsApp, you may find that your activities are not as concealed or anonymous as you thought. On the other hand, if you are a victim or someone needing information through WhatsApp, digital forensics done properly may be able to extract valuable information.

This includes uncovering records that people are trying to hide, retrieving crucial evidence to prove fraud, locating missing assets, or revealing activities someone might be doing behind your back without your knowledge.
