Well, this doesn't sound good. The guy who um kind of invented AI is saying that AI could take control from humans, and we're not aware of what could be coming. This sounds like a very ominous type of warning from a person who really knows the ins and outs of artificial intelligence. And this guy is no slouch. He won the Nobel Prize in physics, right? um for neural networks which is related to AI. He believes that AI will transform some things but he's concerned about the development.

Uh unless you're very sure it's not going to want to kill you, you should worry. Well, that's that's kind of dramatic right there, right? I mean, that's extremely dramatic uh talk about uh you're not sure it's going to kill you. AI is going to it's going to kill you. People haven't gotten it yet. The person estimates a 20% risk that artificial intelligence will take control from humans. People haven't understood what's coming. What does it look like? Who knows?

Now, back to your video because there's hardly any regulation and the companies don't want regulation. So, if you're worried about your job, worried about your finances, worried about any other part of human life, you have to pay attention to AI. And if nothing else, at least learn a little bit about it because it sounds like a lot of people in high places are worried about what it might do.

A little side note, um CBS News, who did this article, asked all the AI labs how much of their computing power is used for safety research. None of them gave a number. mostly have opposed regulations had put forward for safety. So there's no real safe backups put into the system to protect against AI going haywire. I'm not sure what the dangers are. I don't think anybody does.
