Severe Fraud Penalty: The High Cost of Deceptiond

Okay, if you've been a victim of fraud, you probably want to make sure that the person that stole your money has what's coming to them. You don't want them to get away with it; you want them to be punished, maybe go to jail, maybe have to pay it back.

But here's a sentence that is pretty extreme. This is a fraudster, a scammer in Vietnam, who stole money from a bunch of people through fraud, and they're sentenced to death. They don't have that here, but maybe if you're a victim of fraud, you would want your perpetrator to be sentenced to death based on the damage they did to you and your family.

This is a case where they take fraud pretty seriously in Vietnam, and they don't let things slide there. This woman was a scammer who stole millions of dollars, actually billions of dollars, and was sentenced to death. She controlled a Commercial Bank and allowed loans that lost 27 billion, and it's basically lights out—death sentence for her.

So tell me what your thoughts are. Do you think that fraudsters should be sentenced to death or something severe but maybe not that severe?
