If you are involved in any kind of dispute or conflict with another person, maybe it's a lawsuit, or maybe it's just a pending financial dispute, it may be helpful to talk to a certified civil mediator to get an idea of how to resolve the dispute. Some of the information can help you resolve it directly, and maybe you can resolve it with the other disputant or party. However, having a strategy going in about what you're up against can help you deescalate the situation if needed or to fight and conquer if that's necessary.

Sometimes a dispute or conflict needs diplomatic intervention to dissolve it. At other times, it requires a hard, conquering approach, pushing ahead and not letting the other side get the better of you. But having a strategy going in and tapping into the expertise of a mediator—I've personally mediated hundreds, probably over a thousand, of different disputes over the years—can give you insight into the strategy, what things you need to be aware of, and the chess moves to make.

In addition, if you can get the other party involved, we can work with both parties to help arbitrate or mediate a resolution that might be advantageous to both. Remember, it's totally voluntary. There's no forced action either party needs to take—it's just a suggestion coming from the background of insurance claims investigations and legal observations, to let you know what the realities would be if you go to litigation and what that would entail for both parties.
